Rabi Samuel is an Indian-Canadian author and storyteller with a deep fascination for forgotten histories and the places where myth and reality quietly collide.

Born in Kolar Gold Fields, India, he grew up hearing vivid stories of the mines from his father, Samuel Martin, whose own connection to the Champion Reef first sparked this story.

Cold Mine is his debut novel, inspired by the real-life legends of the region and the enduring spirit of the mining communities that shaped generations.

He now lives in Ottawa, Ontario, with his family and continues to explore the hidden veins of India's past.
